丘成桐中学科学奖（生物）意在培养青年生物学人才鼓励高中生生物思维创新并激发高中生对生物研究的兴趣。生物形态学是一门古老的学科，形态学与分类学很早就被牵扯到创世说与进化论不断讨论之中。

丘成桐生物奖

丘成桐中学生物奖，于2016年设立。大赛采用研究报告的形式，研究课题可以是所有和生物学相关的内容，既包括通过实验获得的研究成果，也包括纯理论的分析。

生物奖旨在：

激发中学生对于生物研究的兴趣、夯实中学生的基本生物理论基础

鼓励中学们在生物领域的创新

拓宽中学生在科学上的国际视野

培养和发现专注生物的年轻人才

建立中学和大学间的桥梁和纽带

生物奖面向全球华人中学生，舍弃试卷和标准答案，发现和培养有前途的年轻生物天才，帮助他们更好地适应未来社会的挑战。哈佛大学、普林斯顿大学、清华大学等国内外知名学府及大师们的关注，将为国内外华人中学生提供生物领域全新的舞台和机会。

评审标准

与生物学科的相关性

研究主题和研究方法的原创性

概念的正确性和结论的合理性

研究报告书的学术规范性

若参加面试答辩，口语表达的学术规范性：面试答辩需要说清楚问题的背景，关键背景材料，以及参赛队伍的所有原创内容

若参加面试答辩，阐述团队的合作性：如是团队参赛，其中每位作者都必须口头报告部分内容，并回答评委所提问题

评审委员在关注学术原创性的同时，还特别关注参赛团队的学术道德和诚信

 

关于丘成桐中学科学奖

丘成桐中学生科学奖是2008年由数学大师丘成桐先生发起设立的中学生科学创新类奖项，也是目前唯一面向全球华人中学生的科研赛事。

丘奖是以“科研学术论文”和“专业学术答辩”为评价主体的科学赛事，倡导创新思维和团队合作，舍弃试卷和标准答案，以提交论文的形式参赛。

丘成桐中学科学奖从十四年前单一的数学奖，发展到今天的数学奖、物理奖、化学奖、生物奖、计算机奖和经济金融建模奖，具有高度的国际影响力。
